You Need a Savior
I spent the first part of my life not knowing I needed a Savior. I was self-reliant, independent, and strong enough to stand on my own feet. I never considered myself needy until loss demolished my life and I sensed my fragility for the first time. Over many years, God taught me how to depend on Him – not myself – and I could see clearly my neediness, weakness, and dependency. I regretted my past arrogance that told me I didn’t need a Savior, and I rejoiced that God pursued me anyway. Do you need saving today? It is time to release your self-reliance and let Jesus be your strength. Needing a Savior doesn’t mean you’re weak, it means you’re finally strong enough to cling to Him. Let Jesus save you. Let Him lead!
“Letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.” (Romans 8:6 NLT)
