God Sees Family
I sort and define and assign value to people and the pieces of my life. And because I see the world that way, I assume God must see it that way too. But the longer I’ve known God, the more He has demonstrated to me that sorting and assigning isn’t quite what He has in mind when He looks at us. I see a project but He sees a promise. I see a collection but He sees a community. I see fragments but He sees family.
“I have become like broken pottery, but I trust in you, Lord. I say, ‘You are my God.'” (Psalm 31:12, 14 NIV)
