Your Faith Changes Your Relationships
Your faith will alienate you from people you love. I use the word “will,” not “might.” It is a fact, unless you live in a religious sect, that people in your everyday life will not understand you. Your motives are different. Your intentions are different. Your endurance is different. Faith in a saving God changes your motives, intentions and endurance. You will miss the days when you and your loved ones had more in common. You will remember those days as more golden than they really were, although that doesn’t make them any less missed. When those days come, draw close to the God who comforts. And know this: He has brought new loved ones into your life who will point you to Him.
“The Lord said to Abram, ‘Leave your country, your relatives and your father’s home, and go to a land that I am going to show you.’” (Genesis 12:1 GNT)
