We get so caught up in what’s to come we hardly spend any conscious time in the right now. We live in tomorrows instead of today, commending ourselves for being good stewards of our time by spending it preparing and planning. Running from one thing to the next dehydrates our souls. Stop nexting. Cease striving! Stay in the now. Make a conscious effort to immerse yourself in today and let tomorrow worry about itself.
“Don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” (Matthew 6:34 HCSB)
