God has rehydrated my life so many times: my relationships, mental health, mothering struggles, job loss, grief, and my dry faith. When I come to him parched and desperate, he refills and rejuvenates. God, help me to come to you even when I’m not parched! May I drink from your well as a daily refreshment and not as a rare occurrence. I’m not a cactus! I don’t need to have a drink that lasts for months. Repair me, renew me, replenish me regularly.
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:19 NIV)
